This one has an adjustable thermostat to help you maintain a stable temperature. The first space heater that I looked at was the Comfort Zone Ceramic Heater, Black, CZ446WM. I didn’t really care how much energy the heater used, either, since I wasn’t the one who was going to be paying the power bill! After all, they should have been keeping me comfortable with the heating and cooling system at the office. I didn’t want to spend a fortune on something to keep under my desk at work. They ranged in price from very cheap – around ten dollars – to much more expensive, around seventy dollars or so. Walmart had several little space heaters on the shelf to choose from. I was really looking forward to not freezing at work anymore. But the minute he told me I could have one, I ran out to Walmart on my lunch break and did some comparison shopping. I had always thought that it was against the rules to have a space heater at work. I guess if it’s small enough, they don’t consider it as a fire hazard in our building. Anyway, I talked to the building maintenance supervisor at work and he told me that if I wanted to, I could get a little space heater to keep under my desk. I swear sometimes it feels like I should be able to see my breath in the air. They keep the air conditioning on full blast all the time and I sit there in my cubicle and shiver. You would think it would be colder at work during the winter, but it’s actually the summertime that makes me miserable. At my job, I’ve been freezing on a daily basis. I used to make fun of little old ladies with their sweaters and their slippers, but now apparently I’ve turned into one of those little old ladies. I turned 40 last year and ever since then, I’ve noticed that I’m cold literally all the time.
